Originating from traditional Japanese Jiu-Jitsu, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu was developed and refined by the Gracie family of Brazil to focus on ground fighting techniques. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a highly effective close range grappling art that has totally changed the martial arts community over the last decade.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu emphasizes the use of submission techniques such as chokes, cranks, and joint manipulations. It’s designed to maximize leverage and body positioning to help you overcome larger, more powerful opponents.
Our program comes straight from Master Renzo Gracie himself. Each instructor is certified from Master Renzo Gracie to teach and carry on the traditions of Renzo Gracie Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
